MORGANTOWN, Ky. May 27, 2026 — Aerospace Composites Solutions (ACS), a leading manufacturer of aerospace-grade composite products, announced today that it has successfully achieved Final Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2 following an assessment conducted by an authorized Certified Third-Party Assessment Organization (C3PAO).
The Department of Defense’s CMMC program establishes cybersecurity standards designed to protect Federal Contract Information (FCI) and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI)throughout the Defense Industrial Base (DIB). Final Level 2 Certification validates that ACS has implemented and demonstrated the security requirements of NIST Special Publication 800-171 Revision 2 through an independent assessment process.
Achieving this certification reinforces ACS’s commitment to protecting sensitive defense information, maintaining operational resilience, and supporting the cybersecurity expectations of the U.S. Department of Defense and its partners.
“Achieving this certification reflects our continued commitment to safeguarding sensitive national security information and maintaining the highest standards of regulatory compliance,” said Eric Morton, Senior Vice President, Manufacturing Operations. “This milestone further strengthen our ability to support the DoD and federal agencies while reducing program risk and accelerating timelines. For our manufacturing operations specifically, this certification opens the door to a broader range of defense programs and demonstrates that ACS has the security infrastructure to handle the sensitive defense-related work entrusted to ACS.”
The certification further positions ACS as a trusted manufacturing partner capable of securely supporting defense, aerospace, and government-related programs requiring compliance with evolving federal cybersecurity standards
