ENGINEERING

We partner with our clients to review and finalize design.

While we assist in finalizing design, all CAD is traceable back to you and you maintain all ownership and control. Our two full-time engineers on staff provide re-engineering, reverse engineering, and even build-to print services in-house, taking you to full production.

Prototyping & Manufacturing

ACS provides complete in-house manufacturing support to produce prototypes and first versions.

Our tooling capabilities are some of the most comprehensive in the business and include prepreg, metal, wetlay, temporary, and vacuum assisted resin transfer (VARTM) tools. This diversity allows us to provide a variety of options at different prices, especially VARTM, which is faster and less expensive than common prepreg tooling. We credit our ability to provide such a range of options to our diverse teams who bring unique skills to ACS.

Our additional capabilities for prototype development and manufacturing include ply preparation; prepreg, wetlay and VARTM lay-up; oven, room temp and autoclave curing; trim and drilling, assembly, and paint.

Testing

Regulatory agency certification requires new parts be tested and proven to meet regulations.

We offer a range of testing options to meet these requirements, including, tap, short beam shear, lightning strike, bird strike, transmissive, and lot testing in addition to dimension inspections.

Regulatory Approvals

We assist you in certifying STC and PMA on components and assemblies as well as gain regulatory approvals.

We compile all data required to assist with FAA, EASA, and other regulatory approvals.

Production

Once a part is certified, ACS can produce it in the quantities you need.

Our production services include build-to-print and PMA part production using all the processes used in our manufacturing.
